Peter Sippel

Peter is the driving force for innovation at THG. His experience across a wide range of projects, his involvement in over 15 industry associations, committees and boards and his passion for the industry have shaped THG’s direction over the past 31 years and is now key to his role as chairman of the Board of THG.

Peter’s network of contacts, clients and colleagues stretches internationally and his involvement in the industry is renowned.  He has held positions on a number of boards, including as President of the Association of Consulting Surveyors at both State and National level.  Connections to local and state government, both within Queensland and New South Wales, allow him to facilitate communications at the highest level to achieve the ultimate outcomes for our clients.

Peter’s understanding of the big picture comes from his experience as a cadastral surveyor which has earned him an in-depth knowledge of titling and tenure.  This background allows him to visualise and manage projects from conception through to delivery.

Through his depth of knowledge of tenure and development issues he has coordinated delivery of complex due diligence assessments on a range of development types from mixed use to resorts and marina complexes for both purchasers and lenders.

In addition to his understanding of spatial constraints, Peter has significantly contributed to local and regional economic policy development and implementation through his previous role as Director of the Tweed Economic Development Corporation Ltd.
