David Scassola AILA

A Registered Landscape Architect with over 15 years industry experience, David understands the links between design principles, the environment and business operations, delivering a triple bottom line approach to sustainability and liveability.

David holds a Bachelor of Built Environment in Landscape Architecture (QUT), Certificate III in Horticulture (Brisbane Institute of Tafe, Groverly) and an Associate Diploma of Business Management (Brisbane Institute of Tafe, Mt Gravatt).

David is particularly interested in the link between green space and social wellbeing, utilising these principles in the spaces he creates. He also understands the practical implications of delivering a project on a large scale, with extensive skills in construction management for some of Queensland’s largest infrastructure projects.

David has received various professional awards for his outstanding industry involvement:

• UDIA 2008 winner – Sea Spray Lifestyle Centre
• HIA 2006 winner – Best outdoor living project with Simonds Homes
• QALI 2004 winner – best residential landscape design and construction (up to $75K)
• HIA 2003 winner – best residential unit developer
